Yamaha electro-acoustic - AS NEW in Tring, Buckinghamshire for sale

Yamaha LSX26C bought new in July 2006. Even though it's a beautiful guitar, I've hardly used it because, shortly after I bought it, I discovered jazz and fell in love with the sound of arch tops. (I now need to sell it to pay for a new arch top acquisition.) It has a solid spruce top, solid rosewood back/sides, 5-ply mahogany neck (Yamaha lightly shaves the edges to give it a very comfortable, gentle v profile) and an ebony fretboard. Amplification comes from a bridge piezo and an internal condenser mic. It also sounds marvellous unplugged. It is currently strung with Martin silk & steel 11s and has a very sweet, mellow tone - great for strumming or finger picking with none of the 'boominess' you get from bigger acoustics. It has only ever had home use and has been very well looked after. Its condition is genuinely excellent and comes with the original purchase receipt, original Yamaha hard shell, plush lined case and all the case candy.
